PAX Unplugged, and minor pledge manager update

Hello friends!

Thank you for those who have filled out your pledge managers. We're currently at 70% completed which is really great! Just as a note, your cards will not be charged until I locked all orders, which won't happen for a few months.

APPLE ID Emails

For those of you who used apple ID to sign in to your Kickstarter accounts, this will cause an issue in the pledge manager. You will need to email me ([email protected]) and provide me with a proper email so that I can re-send your pledge manager invitation.

PAX Unplugged

We are heading to Philadelphia this weekend for PAX Unplugged! If you're attending, please come by and say hi! We will be running demos of Mistwind (First come first serve sign up sheet will be at booth 3509). 

We will also have a limited supply of whale plushies for sale, so don't be alarmed if you see them at the booth. We asked the manufacturer to rush a small shipment to us for the show. We understand that backers may be upset that we are selling goods before backers receive them, but we hope you can understand we need to pay for the expenses of attending the show and making the company sustainable, therefore we need to sell everything and anything we can. Thank you for understanding!

Pledge Manager coming soon!

Thank you all for your patience!

The pledge manager is now set up and I've just sent out a smoke test. This means 5% of each pledge level will receive their pledge manager email. This is just to make sure there are no massive mistakes before we send out the full thing on Monday. If you're one of the select few who did receive the email, please go through and see if you run in to any errors or mistakes. 

For now, here's an official photo of the whale plushie! It's super adorable and I'm very happy with how it turned out! There was a lot of back and forth with the manufacturer to make sure we got all the details we wanted. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Hello everyone!

Thank you for your patience this past month as we navigate the after campaign details. We were hoping to have the pledge manager set up by now but there are a few factors that have caused a delay.

Firstly, we are waiting for multiple publishers who are interested in publishing Mistwind in their language. This playtesting phase is taking longer than we expected but we don't want to launch the pledge manager without securing those versions. Adding them in later would just cause confusion with those who were looking forward to possible language versions. 

Second, originally we were planning to use Backerkit's pledge manager, but we were approached by another company who wanted to create a partnership with us, which included them handling the pledge manager. On top of that, we had a very large distributor show interest in our games and we sent them games to be played to see if they wanted to sign us on. Both of these factors are incredibly important for the growth of our company and we don't want to rush any decisions.

With all that being said, I expect to hear back within the next 2-3 weeks, so hopefully we can get the pledge manager set up and ready for you by the end of October.

So no pledge manager yet. BUT we are, however, hard at work preparing files for manufacturing! Gord has been slaving away and finally we can show off the complete set of Character Card artwork! Still some minor tweaks to be made but we are loving how they look and we hope you love them too!
